Discussion on the charge of variants, as well as how to negotiate with ICANN about allocated variants, blocked variants and delegation. |

Discussion on formulating China-Japan-Korea root tag rules
According to LGR Procedure issued by ICANN recently, in order for Chinese variants to be delegated into the root and to achieve delegation of both simple and traditional Chinese, it is urgent that Chinese community establish CJK LGR Generation Panel, submit to ICANN LGR Proposal for Chinese Language and thus accelerate subsequent delegation of variants.
This CDNC meeting will focus on the mechanism of establishing a steering group and the deployment of subsequent tasks. We need to prepare in advance relevant background materials and organization framework for discussion. |
