IETF publishes a series of RFC to support internationalized email address (2009/4)
In September 2008, IETF publishes 3 core RFCs tf8header RFC5335, smtpext RFC5336, DSN RFC5337 designed by EAI working group to support internationalized email address. In March 2009, IETF publishes another important document RFC5504 to support EAI. So far, EAI WG has finished the publication of all important RFCs for SMTP servers. The next step for IETF EAI WG will be re-charter and make the real deployment of EAI protocols. The mentioned RFC is as fllows:
